Our Mission

Every Student Deserves An Appropriate Education

In 1975, Congress passed legislation to protect the educational rights of children with disabilities, ensuring that they receive a free appropriate public education (FAPE). The school system is responsible for identifying and serving children with special needs as early as possible.
The greatest challenge to parents and educators can be properly identifying and developing effective educational plans for special needs students. Academic difficulties, challenges with social skills and persisting maladaptive behavior exhibited by students with special education needs can be misinterpreted as defiance, lack of motivation, antisocial behavior and/or laziness. Unfortunately, such misidentification can lead to improper punishment, such as expulsion, instead of an appropriate education.
At our firm, we know that these are high-stress situations for parents, teachers and students alike. We are equipped to help find the right solution and ensure that every child has the tools they need throughout their school career.
